WALK-N-ROLL FOR SPINA BIFIDA

Did you know Spina Bifida is the most common permanently disabling birth defect?
ORLANDO, FLORIDA - The Spina Bifida Association of Central Florida is excited to announce that the WALK-N-ROLL for Spina Bifida is rolling into Orlando on Saturday, October 29, 2011. Please join us at Blue Jacket Park, near Lake Baldwin, for a fun-filled morning as we build awareness of Spina Bifida and raise funds for programs and services to support, educate, and provide advocacy to the Spina Bifida community.

A family-friendly walk, participants can choose between a one-half mile or one mile path and may walk or roll around these paths as many times as they choose. Registration begins at 8:00 AM, and the walk and festivities will commence at 9:00 AM. Children can come in their Halloween costumes and visit the exhibitors to get some treats. There will be activities and music, too.
Start a team or register as an individual! There is no registration fee and participants will receive a WALK-N-ROLL for Spina Bifida t-shirt for raising at least $100. You can register at www.walknrollsbacfl.org or request a registration form by phone or mail. For information about sponsorship, please visit www.walknrollsbacfl.org.

Your participation in the walk is your commitment to a better tomorrow for those who are living with the challenges of this complex birth defect. For more information about Spina Bifida and the Spina Bifida Association of Central Florida, please visit www.sbacentralflorida.org.
